Blow Molding Machine:
Working Principle of the Blow Molding Machine: The PET preform is heated by an infrared heating device to make it soften. After being heated, the preform is conveyed to the blow molding mold. At the same time, high – pressure air is injected into the preform, causing it to expand horizontally and conform to the inner wall of the mold. Then, through cooling and shaping, the final bottle shape is formed. Components of the Blow Molding Machine: Preform heating system, preform conveying system, blow molding mold, stretch blow molding system, cooling system (chiller), air compressor, air storage tank, air dryer, and air filter. Regarding the bottle mold, we can design any shape you desire. By changing the mold, you can produce multiple types of bottles with a single machine.
Types of Blow Molding Machines: We have blow molding machines with a capacity ranging from 10 to 2000ml, those with a capacity from 3 to 10 liters, and those with a capacity from 10 to 20 liters. We offer both semi – automatic and automatic blow molding machines. The automatic blow molding machine can be connected to the filling machine through an air conveyor system. It is also possible to connect the bottle unscrambler to the filling machine.

Connection sequence: air compressor → air storage tank → air filter → air dryer → air filter → main blow molding machine; chiller → main blow molding machine.
Function of each auxiliary machine:
1. Air Compressor
Function: Generates high-pressure compressed air (typically 25–40 bar) required to inflate PET preforms into bottles during the blow molding process.
Key specs: Oil-free design (to prevent contamination), variable speed drive for energy efficiency.
2. Air Receiver Tank
Function: Stores compressed air to stabilize pressure fluctuations, ensuring a continuous and smooth air supply to the blow molding machine.
Benefits: Reduces compressor cycling, minimizes pressure drops during peak demand.
3. Air Filter
Function: Removes contaminants (dust, oil aerosols, moisture) from the compressed air to protect the blow molding machine and ensure bottle quality.
Stages:
Pre-filter: Traces particles >5 µm.
Coalescing filter: Removes oil/water droplets.
Activated carbon filter: Eliminates odors (optional).
4. Refrigerated Air Dryer
Function: Cools compressed air to 3–5°C, condensing and draining moisture to achieve a dew point of ≤2°C. Prevents water vapor from causing defects in bottles (e.g., bubbles, uneven walls).
Critical for: High-humidity environments or applications requiring ultra-dry air.
5. Water Chiller
Function: Circulates chilled water (5–15°C) to cool the blow molds rapidly, solidifying the molten PET into the final bottle shape.

Semi – automatic 2 – cavity Blow Molding Machine:
Models include 0 – 2L semi – automatic 2 – cavity blow molding machine, semi – automatic large – bottle blow molding machine (3 – 5L / 5L – 10L), semi – automatic wide – mouth bottle 2 – cavity blow molding machine, and heat – resistant bottle blow molding machine. It is composed of a preform oven and a main blow molding machine. Workers need to manually place the preforms on the preform seats in the oven. After the preforms rotate one circle in the oven, they are softened by the heating tubes inside. Then, workers manually take the preforms to the main blow molding machine, hang them on the mold, and press a button. The machine can then close the mold and blow air. As a result, the bottles are formed into the same shape as the mold, and workers manually take out the formed bottles. This process repeats. The heating temperature can be adjusted on the oven, and the blowing time can be adjusted on the touch – screen. The optimal preform heating temperature and the optimal blowing time are obtained through continuous testing. Before leaving the factory, we will adjust the optimal temperature and blowing time. If you change preforms of different weights, the heating temperature and blowing time will be different, and you need to keep trying to find the optimal parameters. Regarding the bottle mold, we can design any shape you desire. By changing the mold, you can produce multiple types of bottles with a single machine.
Heat – Resistant Bottle Blow Molding Machine:
This machine is used for blowing heat – resistant bottles. Compared with conventional blow molding machines, it is equipped with a mold temperature controller, which heats the mold. The bottles are blown under high temperature, and then a powerful air dryer is used for rapid cooling. In this way, heat – resistant bottles can be produced. These bottles are generally used for filling high – temperature liquids, such as hot juice. The preforms for producing such bottles are heavier. The blown – out bottles have many rib lines in their structure and can have many small protrusions on the surface. These features can enhance the structural stability. The heat – resistant bottle blow molding machine is 60 – 80% more expensive than ordinary blow molding machines. Not only is the price of the blow molding machine higher, but the prices of the preforms and caps for producing the bottles are also more expensive, as the materials of the preforms and caps are more heat – resistant.

III. Analysis of Cost Differences
Material Cost: The price of heat – resistant PET raw material is 20 – 30% higher than that of ordinary – grade PET.
Energy Consumption: Energy consumption in the high – temperature process increases by approximately 35% (due to higher heating/cooling requirements).
Equipment Investment: The price of heat – resistant models is about 1.5 – 2 times that of ordinary machines, attributed to:
Special alloy molds
Precision temperature – control systems
Reinforced mechanical structures

Semi – automatic 4 – cavity Blow Molding Machine:
The mold of the main blow molding machine has 4 cavities, enabling it to blow 4 bottles at a time. Compared with the semi – automatic 2 – cavity blow molding machine, it has a higher speed and can reach 2000 bottles per hour. We can also customize this machine by adding: 1. An automatic preform loader connected to the oven; 2. An automatic bottle – dropping structure for the main blow molding machine.

Semi – automatic 10 – 20L Blow Molding Machine
This machine is also known as a 5 – gallon bucket blow molding machine. It is a single – cavity semi – automatic machine with a production speed of 120 buckets per hour and is used in conjunction with a 5 – gallon bucket water filling machine. If you want the blown buckets to have handles, you need to purchase PE handles separately. First, place the handle in the slot of the mold, and then put the heated preform in. In this way, the handle will be firmly fixed inside the blown bucket. We can also provide an automatic 5 – gallon bucket blow molding machine, which is priced at 50,000 – 60,000 US dollars. This machine can only blow PET buckets and cannot blow PC buckets. PC buckets need to be produced by a blow molding machine, and the price of a PC bucket blow molding machine is approximately 60,000 – 100,000 US dollars. PC buckets are more robust and have a longer lifespan than PE ones. However, PC buckets contain bisphenol A. When filling hot water, bisphenol A will dissolve out, and bisphenol A is harmful to human health. When used to hold water at room temperature, the amount of bisphenol A dissolved out is relatively small. PET buckets do not contain bisphenol A.
An automatic blow molding machine can be connected to a filling machine via an air conveyor system. The blown bottles directly enter the bottle – washing, filling, and capping section. Compared with semi – automatic blow molding machines, this method saves more labor and is more efficient. If you don’t have a blow molding machine, you need to connect a bottle unscrambler in front of the filling machine. You should pour the empty bottles into the bottle unscrambler, and it can arrange the scattered bottles in order. Then, the bottles are still conveyed to the filling machine through the air conveyor system.

Automatic 0 – 2L Blow Molding Machine:
We can offer various models such as 2 – cavity, 4 – cavity, 6 – cavity, and 8 – cavity machines. The more cavities the machine has, the faster its production speed. Our automatic blow molding machines are equipped with servo motors and servo control systems, which contribute to energy – saving and high – efficiency operations. For automatic machines, the production speed is also related to the size and weight of the bottles. The heavier and thicker the bottles are, the longer the blowing time required, and the slower the production speed. Therefore, you need to tell us the weight of the preforms you’ll use, the size of the bottles you want to make, and the desired blowing speed. Only then can we recommend a suitable machine model for you.

Automatic Large – bottle Blow Molding Machine
We have large – bottle blow molding machines for 3L – 5L bottles and 5L – 10L bottles. Customers need to purchase the bottle caps and hanging rings separately. Due to the large size of the bottles, the blowing time required is relatively long. Therefore, the production speed is generally between 1000 and 5000 bottles per hour. The machine can also be connected to a 3L – 10L filling machine via conveyors to form a complete production line.

High – speed Blow Molding Machine
The speed of the high – speed blow molding machine ranges from 12000 bottles per hour (bph) to 50000 bottles per hour (bph). We can customize rotary high – speed blow molding machines. Additionally, we can customize a combination of a high – speed blow molding machine and a filling and capping machine to form an integrated machine, namely the blow – fill – cap (BFC) integrated machine.
There are two methods for producing PET cans:
1. Direct blowing method using a PET can blow molding machine.
2. Two-step production method using a PET bottle blow molding machine and a can cutting machine. Please check the video of Please check the video of Automatic PET can blow molding machine:https://youtu.be/KFqx3hZO2BU
1. Direct Blowing Method with an Automatic PET Can Blow Molding Machine
With this method, you need to have can preforms. You should manually place the can preforms on the conveyor or invert them on the preform seats. Then, the preforms pass through the heating tunnel. The softened preforms after heating are blown into cans in the mold. However, the drawback of this method is that the blow molding machine can only be used to produce cans and not bottles.
Please check the video of two – step production method with a PET bottle blow molding machine and a can cutting machine:https://youtu.be/pct_qlB7ioA
2. Two – step Production Method with a PET Bottle Blow Molding Machine and a Can Cutting Machine:
First, the PET bottle blow molding machine blows the preforms into bottles. Then, the upper part of the bottles is cut off by the cutting machine, and thus PET cans can be obtained. The mold of the blow molding machine requires special design, as shown in the above picture. The blow molding machine can also be an automatic model, which can be connected to the cutting machine through an air conveyor system. Moreover, such a blow molding machine can produce a variety of bottles by changing the molds.
